And it was hard

Well court didnt go well. We were hoping he got parole but the judge gave him 5 years. It was a lot for me to watch them take my little cousin who is more like my lilttle brother be hauled off like that. It seems like the closer I get to GOD the more and more problems I have but funny thing is it made me understand "Praise will confuse the enemy". I still have a lot to be thankful for so I cant let these meaningless humps in the road get me down and distract me away from my goals. If you really want something even if no one else can see your vision and the odds are against you if its in his will there is nothing anyone can do to take that from you. I love you but GOD loves you more then you love yourself.

Life happens when your living

Today I have to go to court to help my little cousin out of some deep trouble in got into. He has never really been in this kind of thing so its really hard for our family but with GOD on our side we are going to make it.
Sometime to most funny thing happen when your living ; LIFE. You can't run or hide from it, its always with you waiting for your next move and choice in life. We all hit ruff patches in life but what makes it bad is the choices you make to make the situation better. We will not always get everything we want in life so why harp on what you can't change. I am truly too blessed to be stressed and really so are you.

Marvaless Monday

It was so ugly outside but I still felt sunshine in my spirit. What about you? If you didn't let me explain to you how I can....
-GOD woke me and all of my kids up this morning
-Everything was still in my house no one had broken in
-MY sister called at the same time she always do to tell me that she dropping my nephew off
-My car started with no problem
-No bad News at all
So why wouldn't I be having a good day; cause of a little rain? I could be living on the street with no shelter or food, no car to get into and take my kids to school and no job to go to. Thank you GOD for my life could be worst then it is.

Friday the kids dad and I took them to the movies and we didn't argue that much (trust that's a true blessing cause we don't see eye to eye) Again wonderful times that I must thank GOD for.
Time are very hard for me just probably more hard then you or harder then you think but I serve someone that makes all the stress of the world not matter.

Stop and smell the Roses

In life we all are in a rush to get everywhere. Home, to work, to school, the store, the club, the after party and the room (lol). But when your in the moment and your still late for where ever it is you had to go with a speeding ticket and no deodorant on you must stop and ask yourself "Where did the time go"? Well truth is it didn't go any where you've just been to busy to notice it.
Life is a mystery that some spend their life time trying to figure out. When you rush time it goes faster when your kicking rocks to pass time, time move slower than ever. Funny when you think about it....
Since you now know this what will you do with your time? Myself, I stop to smell the roses because I have time. I will no longer rush my life a way. I don't want to be the 40 year old cougar wondering how did my life past me by with some stapping young tender that called me ma'me when we first met.
STOP WHAT YOUR DOING RIGHT NOW AND THANK GOD FOR THE DAY, why? Because nothing else is more important. Time is the only thing in the world that you cant get back, redo or change, so don't waste it.

New Beginning

Hello all,

Yesterday felt like I was being born again,let me explain.
After I drop all the kids off at school I went to the cemetery to visit my grandmother (Maggie L.) I talk to her for about 30 minutes. I told myself I wasn't going to cry but I did a little. My grandmother passed away December of 1996 I know it was a long time ago but she was very close to me and I still have not fully accepted her death. After I left I went to the church I grew up in (Evangelist Temple) as I was pulling up I looked in my review mirror and saw the Bishop pulling up also. Normally I am in the parking lot alone so it was a little unusual to me. I haven't talk to Bishop Kyles in a long time so to see him then felt really good.
I started my own business earlier this year so that I don't have to worry about working for someone else and the drama that brings but things haven't been going that well. I talk to GOD a lot about me continuing to try with my business or accept that I need to get a job and struggle for the rest of my life. After I talk to Bishop I really felt that I should continue building my Wedding and Event Planning company. I have asked God for the past few weeks what I should do with no response. With Christmas being right around the corner and me having four kids I wasn't sure but I have all my faith in the Lord and November 2 is the New Beginning to my life.
If you ever need a friend or just someone to talk to remember God is always there he may not talk back to you right then but be patient and have faith and you will soon see His will.
Everyday we make choices that determine our future, live for today and plan for tomorrow.
